Our farms
At Steakhouse Portuguesa da Maia we stand out for our dedication to the quality of the meats we serve, and that starts on our own farms. With three properties located in Alijó, Guimarães and Guarda, we ensure strict control over the entire product.
These farms are responsible for breeding some of the most recognizable breeds in gastronomy, allowing Steakhouse to accompany every stage, from the feeding and welfare of the animals to the selection of the best meats. In this way, we not only guarantee the freshness and superior taste of the products, but also convey our commitment to sustainable and quality practices.
What makes us stand out...
We are proud to produce some of the most prestigious meat breeds, including Wagyu, Limousin, Frisia, Torina, Minhota, Barrosã and Cachena. Of these, the breeds we raise the most are Wagyu, Minhota and Barrosã.
We prioritize the welfare of our animals, offering exceptional care, with access to fresh pasture, always clean water and dry, clean bedding, guaranteeing a healthy environment.
In addition, our farms offer ample space for the animals to live outdoors, in direct contact with nature and we never slaughter any animal under the age of five, ensuring that they live a full and healthy life.
