António Sequeira

António Manuel da Cruz Sequeira, known as Chef Sequeira, was born in Alijó do Douro and found his way into the kitchen from an early age. “My mother used to tell me I was going to be a cook, as I was always around her and the pots and pans.”

With a huge passion for Portuguese gastronomy, by the age of 18 he was already a professional cook and has never left the area since. After training at the Porto Hotel School, the Chef dedicated himself to meat and became a reference in Portugal in the preparation and maturation of high quality meats.

For the Chef, being Portuguese is synonymous with dedication and honesty, values that he is keen to promote through our gastronomy, both in Portugal and around the world.
